Did you know that magpies can recognise and remember faces of up to one thousand people? They are known to hold grudges against those who have threatened them, and also hold loyalties to those who've shown them kindness. Magpies also mate for life and will not find a new partner unless theirs has died. 

I was inspired to make this series by the many birds that visit my home and the snippets of their unique personalities I get to witness. They're just so clever :)
